OUTRAGEOUS!

Did you hear about the deranged person on the second floor of a shopping mall who grabbed hold of a baby? Several would be good Samaritans raced to the baby’s aid. The offender threatened them yelling, “Stand back or I’ll hurt you bad!” They stopped, but stayed close by, waiting for an opportunity to jump in. The standoff continued.

The offender was holding the baby in a dangerous way, going close to railings and swinging the infant. People were wondering out loud, was it the offender’s baby? Nobody knew. Did that matter at this point?

Time dragged by, there were no police officers or mall security in sight. The standoff continued. Some people were, at times, close enough to the person to rescue the baby but, for some reason, did not. The person then, as though a timer went off, ran to the railing and threw the infant to its’ death on the first floor below.

This did not happen, but how did you feel reading it? Angry? Enraged? Did you picture yourself in that mall doing what others had failed to do? Did you question how anyone could allow that innocent child to die without doing anything to save it?

That’s how I feel about this election. This is not a maybe. One party is definitely promoting the defense of abortion (They’re calling it pro choice, but the choice is to abort your baby or allow it to go full term) and adding that, if elected, they will re-instate government funding of Planned Parenthood, the leading abortion provider (Thus forcing people who believe abortion is murder to pay for abortions they are morally opposed to). The other party has already taken government funding away from Planned Parenthood. The President has nominated constitutional judges who would likely not find in favor of Roe v Wade if a challenge of it comes before them.

I feel we are all witnesses of the endangered baby situation. It’s called abortion. We can all save babies, and mothers, from abortion by voting for the candidate who says he is pro life and has backed his words with actions. In addition to the well publicized Supreme Court appointments he has appointed over 100 appellate court judges who are constitutionally oriented, meaning, in my opinion, they follow the written guide to our laws (The Constitution) rather than “interpreting” the law to match their desired outcome.

I looked for quantification and the best I could find was a graph showing 1970 to 2016. This graph had a disclaimer stating that the count is lower than the actual amount because abortion providers are not mandated to report their numbers so all totals are partial. It is also noted that there were originally 52 reporting stations. The number was lowered to 47 when five reporting stations stopped giving their counts between the 1997 and 1998 counts. The totals are going down but, since 1973, no year is under 600,000 and 20 of the years had numbers over 1 million. The last year given, 2016, the count was 623,471 aborted babies.

We can all save a lot of babies by re-electing President Trump. I think it’s important, I pray you do too.
