A QUICK NOTE BEFORE THE RIOTING STARTS

I spoke out against the mail in ballots but, because I am not rich or politically connected and don’t have super powers, my complaint went out to those who read my posts and no further. My argument was simple. Absentee ballots have been available for a long time. If a voter was practicing self quarantine and felt going to a possibly crowded polling place would endanger their health they had every opportunity to avail themselves of that option. I further argued that shopping and outdoor assembly was on the rise and many had posited that it was a healthy option for the those who were feeling trapped and depressed as a result of over 8 months of restrictions. My second point was that, a point I felt was obvious, there was a tremendous added opportunity for fraud if the entire electorate was obligated to do their civic duty by mail.

During the interim between mail in ballots being the “new normal” and the election several horror stories were heard, at least on conservative outlets. I heard stories including, but not limited to, the following:

A listener reported that his dead aunt had been mailed a ballot. A man called in to a radio show to report that he had received 5 mail in votes for the previous resident in the mail at his new home. A caller reported that he found a box containing hundreds of unmarked ballots near his mailbox. States had various ways to handle the new dilemma, one glaring difference was when mail in ballots needed to be postmarked to be acceptable. A female caller related, I believe it was on the Denis Prager Show, that she lives with her brother who is a registered Democrat. She continued that she is a registered Republican. She said the ballot return envelopes had identical identification numbers on them, the only difference being that her number ended with an “R” and her brother’s number ended with a “D”, I live with three of my adult children. One recently moved back in and made arrangements to receive her mail in ballot. The other two had mail in ballot applications mailed to them without any request made on their part. I did not receive anything. I have lived at my current address as a registered voter for over 20 years. One station I listened to played a recording of a female who was telling others that she had been paid $5 for each vote she brought in and she claimed to have brought in over 1,000. I never heard anything more on that.

Last night I watched the returns come in as, I imagine, many citizens did. I was suspicious of the fact that the larger urban areas of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania were not coming in. I had the same feeling I used to get when I took election overtime as a Deputy Sheriff in a collar county outside Chicago. At that time we would finish our assignments and then be allowed to observe vote totals coming in from around the state. The first time I did this I said to an older election judge, “Why is Cook County late again; I thought they had a new system?” His answer came quickly and without hesitation, “Cook County returns are always late because they wait to see how many votes they need before they release numbers.” I was a cop, in uniform, I snapped back, “You mean there is proven election fraud and nobody does anything about it?” He response was given in a much calmer tone than my question had been, “I can’t prove it, but I have worked over 35 elections, given various assignments, and have seen three things occur in every one of those elections. Some candidates win. Some candidates lose. And Chicago and Cook County are always among the last to get their vote counts in.”

These words of wisdom rang in my head as I saw the nation was waiting for totals from Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Scranton, Milwaukee, Madison and Detroit. I’m sure I’m missing some, but you get the picture.

As I was scratching my head wondering what the heck was going on the announcers on the two stations I was monitoring were praising Joe Biden for saying he would wait for vote totals to come in and questioning why Trump had not spoken yet, and then chastising him for saying he felt the election was being stolen.

Today I have heard more alarming stories. For unexplained reasons Nevada and Philadelphia stopped counting votes before a total was determined. Why? It was reported that a container that held 128,000 ballots marked for Biden were found- no Trump votes were in that container. Poll watchers in Pennsylvania and Hawaii were not allowed access.

Trump is suing Michigan because his poll watchers were not allowed access at some locations.

This is very upsetting. I don’t know what you have heard. You’ll hear more from me, I hope to hear from you.

Thanks, please like and share. Comment if you have time, I look forward to hearing from you.

  1. Have you read Mike Royko’s book Boss? It’s a good read and covers election manipulation if I remember correctly.

  9. An impressive share! I have just forwarded this onto a friend who was doing a little homework
on this. And he actually ordered me lunch because I

  10. Very good blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost
on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like
Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused ..
    Any ideas? Kudos!

    1. Thanks, I started with WordPress and a lot of
prayers. They gave options (More help for a
fee) and I took one of the basic packages.
      Good luck!

  11. I’m amazed, I must say. Seldom do I come across a
blog that’s both educative and amusing, and without a doubt, you’ve hit the
nail on the head. The problem is something which
too few men and women are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy that I stumbled across this during my search for something concerning this.
