What was a 13 year old doing out at 2 AM?
Where were his parents? Yes, teenagers do sneak out at times but I bet this wasn’t the first time he did it.
The police were called because someone was shooting at passing cars. Luckily no one was hurt. That’s when police ran into the 21 year old gang member and the ‘boy’.
Before all the hype about the ‘boy’ being ‘murdered’ one of the Chicago news stations did a broadcast about what happened.
The video that was broadcast showed the ‘boy’ had a gun in his right hand. The left side of his body was visible to the police officer. The boy started to turn so that the gun was no longer visible. The police officer had to consider that as the boy turned his right arm would come up and shoot at him. There was no way to see that the gun was tossed behind a fence. It took longer to type this comment than the incident took. These were split second decisions. Was the police officer supposed to ask how old the suspect was before he shot? Give me a break!
Were these two suspects responsible for innocent people being murdered while driving on the expressways?
Why was the 13 year old hanging out with a 21 year old gang member?
It is tragic that the boy will not grow up. BUT he did bring it on himself. Does this comment make me a bitch? I do not care!!

They sensationalize and slant stories to make them fit their agenda. Lately they seem to be anti-police. Killing a 13 year old was a tragic mistake. The policeman was under the impression that the young man was going to shoot him.
