I AM ASHAMED OF HOW MY FELLOW CITIZENS ARE ACCEPTING THE LOSS OF THEIR GOD GIVEN FREEDOMS IN THE NAME OF COVID!

Every vaccine I am aware of has been sold to the consumer as a method to prevent the patient from getting sick with a certain disease. The Oxford Dictionary defines Vaccination as: “A treatment with a vaccine to produce immunity against a disease; inoculation.” Webster defines vaccine as: “A material (as a preparation of killed or weakened virus or bacteria) used in vaccinating to induce immunity to a disease.” NOTE THE WORD IMMUNITY IN EACH DEFINITION! Another way of saying immunity would be to say, If you’re vaccinated you don’t have to worry about anyone around you- you are not going to get infected! IMMUNE is defined as (Webster): “Exempt, Having a special capacity for resistance (as to a disease).”

A question then arises, is the Covid 19 vaccine less effective? If it is less effective, why is the government pushing so hard for us to take it?

According to cdc.gov “Covid 19-vaccines are effective. They can keep you from getting and spreading the virus that causes Covid 19.” Given that information, I have another question. If the vaccine is effective why are vaccinated people so concerned about those who, for their own reasons, choose not to get inoculated. If this is a free society why is my government pushing so hard for me to do something I don’t want to do? There is a vaccine that prevents them getting COVID 19. They have nothing to fear from me weather I am vaccinated or not.

In the land of the free and the home of the brave can you believe that it is a requirement to have a “Covid Passport” to dine indoors in a certain city? This requirement is, ironically, being forced on residents of and visitors to the same city that is home to the Statue of Liberty. This requirement is, ironically, proposed by and signed by a member of the party that is against voter ID’s because, they argue, required ID’s will limit minority voters ability to participate in elections. Does this mean that New York is purposely limiting minorities ability to dine indoors? Wouldn’t that be an act of racism?

Do you remember at the beginning of this Covid scare when we were told we had to lock down to slow the spread and avoid overcrowding of the hospitals? I didn’t agree with that, but I understood the thought process. If we take them at their word, our government officials were concerned about limiting the mortality rate. The mortality rate is very low now, but I am hearing a lot of talk about lockdowns to lower the infection rate- Why?

Lockdowns are not inconsequential actions taken to make us safe. The COVID lockdowns have caused many businesses, small and large, to close permanently, small business owners have lost their life savings, the suicide rate has risen while the economy has been devastated.

In my opinion a lockdown is a last resort that was misused early in this Covid crisis and should not even be discussed now. I’m not saying that because I promote censoring speech. I say it because business reacts to statements made by politicians. Businesses planning to launch a new branch or increase production would be wise to cut back if politicians are talking about locking the country down again. Weather they implement lockdowns or not, just talking about them will hurt the economy, again.

In my state, Illinois, Governor Pritzker has said another lockdown is a possibility, according to a WFLD Chicago report. This would be in response to a rise in COVID cases even though the mortality rate is no longer alarming.

According to www.whitehouse.gov President Biden made the following statements in a July 29th briefing. The president said, “…But we are not fully out of the woods yet, because what is happening in America right now is a pandemic–a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Let me say that again: It’s a pandemic of the unvaccinated.” The President continued, “But let me explain. Our top scientists at the National Institute of Health — the NIH — and across the country got to work applying decades of research–decades of research– let me repeat that: decades –that have already been done– the research– to develop the COVID – 19 vaccine when it hit.”

That struck me as odd. I had heard that the COVID virus was brand new. I wondered how scientists could have been working on the vaccine for “decades” when nobody was aware of the disease? This lead me to Google “when was COVID 19 discovered” the answer was December 31 2019. Yet our president is insisting that our crack scientists have been working on a vaccine for it for “DECADES!” Another president is quoted as saying, “Trust but verify” (Ronald Reagan)- I think that would be appropriate here, and statements like that add to my suspicion that there is something in this vaccine that I don’t want to put in my body!

In that presentation Biden repeated several times that people who are not vaccinated are a health risk to those who have received the shot. I’m surprised he does not know the definition of vaccine, if you see him feel free to share this blog with him. You can explain to him that the vaccine he is pushing so hard will give the recipients immunity from COVID 19- won’t it?

Have you seen any drug commercials recently (Sorry Boomer talk- I meant in the last 50 years) that just tell you how marvelous the product is? I have not. I believe it was in the 1970’s, the government ordered drug companies that partake in direct to consumer advertising (DTCA) to list all applicable warnings in their commercials. The reason I bring that up is, it seems to me, all drugs have potential side effects- yet the government is pushing this, virtually untested, vaccine on us, and “encouraging” us to take it.

With no great network of investigators I am aware of the following problems, and more, with the vaccine our government is pushing on us.

I know of a senior citizen who dutifully went to get vaccinated. She was feeling fine, according to her husband who I spoke to at her wake, when she went to the drug store for the shot. She started feeling sick before she arrived back at her home. She told her husband she wanted to go directly to bed and died the next morning. Her death certificate read that the death was due to complications form the vaccination. Please comment if you heard about this Chicago resident. I doubt that you have because that doesn’t fit the press’ narrative. Again, I suggest, trust but verify!

My children are all in the child bearing age range. Two of my daughters told me of girls they have heard of who were carrying healthy babies and lost them shortly after being vaccinated. One of the girls was opposed to the vaccination but her doctor told her it would protect her unborn child, so she took it.

Remember the drug commercials you see on TV. The commercials I mentioned above that are forced, by government decree, to tell you any and all side effects or potential problems with the drug? I am just asking as a father, grandfather, teacher and retired police officer, why aren’t we hearing about the dark side of the vaccinations? Why aren’t we being told about the people I’ve mentioned above? Does anyone believe there aren’t a lot more.

You’re not hearing much about Covid’s mortality rate anymore are you? Now it’s all about the number of infections. Is there a reason? Is that reason that the death rate is now lower than many other diseases? Could it be that our alarmist press and politicians are purposely misleading us? I’ve said in other blogs, if you have two adults in a room chances are great you will have two opinions. Why are we only hearing one side on vaccinations? Why are we only hearing the positive points of wearing masks? Have you heard that a large group of doctors stood on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court (Previous Blog) and announced that masks were not at all effective against COVID? Are you aware that Dr. Fauci originally said that masks weren’t effective?
