My son Daniel would have been 29 years old today.
He suffered from depression and had other challenges in his short life.
He was a good pure soul who wanted nothing more out of life than to make others happy and find happiness himself.
He succeeded with the first part and not the second.
Danny took his life just before his 26th birthday.
He was a wonderful son, brother, Godfather, uncle, friend and so much more.
He impacted many lives and is sorely missed by all who loved him.
I beg anyone reading this who is contemplating suicide to call the new suicide prevention number 9-8-8.
I ask everyone to pray for Danny and all who suffer as he did.

I’m sad with you, because of the pain Daniel felt before he died and the pain you carry afterward. I guess I hate death more than I hate pain. Unvalidated pain is grueling and the thought of “in vain” pain makes me more angry than I find comfortable. I am actively choosing right now to affirm that regardless of whether it was ever validated in compassion, no pain, nor any of its issue, is without purpose in the hands of Him who makes “tov” out of “rah”.
